So,
I'm still lying here in bed on this Christmas Eve morn, at 9:30am.
I've been thinking about my life and how incredibly wonderful it is.
I wanted to share with those of you who are interested in reading
this, just a few of the blessings I've been pondering on over the
last 30 mins.
but first a short back story so you will understand more fully my appreciation today, just one year ago, we had pennies on our pockets, and had to rely on food stamps to put food on the table.
My hubby was working a full time job, but it still didn't make ends meet for us, I felt like we were spiraling into a black hole and I wasn't sure hope we could make it stop, let alone change the out come and make things start going upward.
I
had lived through many Christmases where we were fortunate enough to
be on the receiving end of a Charitable gift giving
experience, but it had been more Christmases than not. And I Promised
myself Last year that I would Make things Happen, so that in the
coming years I would be the one Gifting and not Getting. My long
term Goal is to be able Each Year do something quietly and gift a
family who couldn't otherwise afford to have a Christmas, a Surprise Christmas. but first a short back story so you will understand more fully my appreciation today, just one year ago, we had pennies on our pockets, and had to rely on food stamps to put food on the table.

So after many long months and years of Praying, down on my Knees crying out to the Lord for a way to Change and get out of the situation we were in, My Prayer was answered!!!
My Sweet friend offered me an opportunity to learn more about Beachbody Coaching, at first I brushed her off thinking it was just another one of those Network Marketing Companies that you spend countless hours working on and really never get any where. One of those companies where spend money time and again to attend these training's but all that really goes on is back biting and undercutting and MEANness (which I had experienced BIG time before in another company)
But as I watched and talked with her, I could see she was HAPPY and things were MOVING Upwards for her at a quick pace. So I decided to listen to what she had to share with me.
Because of Beachbody and what it teaches over the last year, My Life (and my families) has changed Drastically!!!
*We are Healthier, we don't reward ourselves with unhealthy foods, we have found other ways to let our children know they did a job well, or we are proud of them in school, etc...
*I have learned to understand and be able to sympathize with others on a level I couldn't before (because I was always just feeling sorry for myself and my circumstances)
*We were able to take a trip to the Oregon coast for 5 days completely paid for from my Beachbody Income.
*I have made so many incredible friends and strengthened friendships that were not very strong before.
*I have learned to LOVE others and help them feel loved, included, appreciated and KNOW they are worthwhile
*My Marriage has improved by leaps and bounds, there are days that I just don't want to be apart from my Husband, I want him around a lot. Where before, 50% of the time we just fought over the dumbest stuff.
*I have learned the importance of reading/ listening to Personal Development books. Books that have taught me the importance of working to Better me, if I want my circumstances to be better. Books that have taught me to Lead by example and with LOVE not by Commanding or scare tactics. Books that have taught me how to manage my time more wisely and not procrastinate.
*We no longer live Paycheck to Paycheck, and rely on food assistance from the state, to provide for the families needs
*Last week we needed new tires (that's a big expense) right before Christmas. BUT we were able to purchase them, with out too much hesitation, because we have enough money coming in that we could afford it.
*We now have a savings account. "Say what?" The LAST Time we had that was almost 5 years ago.
*we have a tree filled with gifts under it, and it wasn't a huge stress trying to make things or get used/recycled free stuff from friends that I could gift to the kids
*I have peace of mind KNOWING that I am able to serve others with donations, and because I am in a stable position mentally, physically and emotionally that I can be a ROCK for those who need it
*and one of the BIGGEST things I have had a transformation of is LOVING my body!!! I NOW walk past the mirror and think of positive things (that come naturally) about myself, where as before I would literally stand and criticize myself for 10 mins.
*Oh and my body FEELS incredible, I am not week, lethargic, sad, or have an aching back day after day. I Feel Healthy, Happy and Full of LIFE.
So what is the Point of this very long post??? I lave learned "If you work harder on Yourself than you do on your Business, YOU can make a Fortune" (Jim Rohn) Not just a Fortune of Money, but in life, in friendships, in joy!!!
*I have become much closer and more relevant on my God, for the things I need or which paths to choose, He is at the helm of my Ship and I plan to keep it that way.
